With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony, and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things.

Stress Management & Stress Reduction

We all feel stressed and overwhelmed from time-to-time, and would welcome a simple way we can relieve that stress. Both my Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Group Program and my Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Individual Program are easy to learn and practice, and particularly effective for relieving stress, freeing up your energy and enhancing the joy of living.

Through this stress reduction technique you begin to recognize the underlying patterns of habit that hold you back, and this awakening can help you to live a more enjoyable, fuller life.

Techniques for Stress Management & Stress Reduction

This technique for managing stress is derived from my advance training in Mindfulness Meditation Practices, Mindfulness-Based Therapy/Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques. My training includes studies with Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, and associates at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction retreats as well as with Herbert Benson, MD, at the Harvard Medical School Mind Body Institute.

In addition, I have been an active practitioner of Vipassana/Insight Meditation for over 15 years. I have studied and continue to study with Jack Kornfeld, Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Salzberg, Philip Moffit, Christopher Titmus and other teachers at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California, Insight Meditation Society in Massachusetts, Vipassana Meditation Foundation in Hawaii, and other retreat centers throughout the world.

Besides the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Group Program and the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Individual Program, I also offer Mindfulness-Based Therapy for Individuals, a specific therapeutic model that can be used to treat a variety of concerns, to those who are interested in pursing that type of therapy.
