Through this stress reduction technique you begin to recognize the underlying patterns of habit that hold you back, and this awakening can help you to live a more enjoyable, fuller life.
This technique for managing stress is derived from my advance training in Mindfulness Meditation Practices, Mindfulness-Based Therapy/Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques. My training includes studies with Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, and associates at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction retreats as well as with Herbert Benson, MD, at the Harvard Medical School Mind Body Institute.
In addition, I have been an active practitioner of Vipassana/Insight Meditation for over 15 years. I have studied and continue to study with Jack Kornfeld, Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Salzberg, Philip Moffit, Christopher Titmus and other teachers at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California, Insight Meditation Society in Massachusetts, Vipassana Meditation Foundation in Hawaii, and other retreat centers throughout the world.
