Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction – Group Program

This Mindfulness-Based Stressed Reduction Group Program is a nine-session structured program
(approximately 15 hours of instructions not including assessment sessions).

The program includes the following elements:

  • An initial individual consultation and assessment of needs (separate fee; not part of the nine-session program);
  • Eight 1.5-hour to 2-hour group instruction sessions, which include guided meditations and didactic lecture and discussion;
  • One intensive 4-hour, half-day group session, which includes guided meditation sessions, discussion and final presentation on how to bring Mindfulness into everyday life; and
  • Includes stress reduction practices undertaken at home at least five days a week during the program period (exercises range from 10 minutes to 45 minutes each).

This program may be undertaken separately from any individual therapy or as an adjunct to therapy.

During the initial consultation and assessment, I will present a brief introduction to the program and evaluate your individual needs. We will decide together whether this program is appropriate for you, or whether it would be more productive for you to work with me on an individual basis. Program Fee:

Please contact me to discuss this program, the program fee, and the assessment fee. Generally, the fee is expected to be paid at the beginning of the program. Some insurance plans may cover all or part of this program fee. Refunds and pro-rated returns may be made depending on special circumstances such as illness or family crisis.
